I used to hate radish. And eggplant. And okra. And eggs cooked any way but scrambled. But then I grew them myself.

I may still be on the fence about okra, but I've found that there is so much more to the foods I thought I hated than the few kinds you can find in the produce section of your average large-scale grocer.  Different varieties grown for their flavor instead of their size can make all the difference in how something tastes.

I know trying new things, or especially retrying something you're pretty sure you hate, is a big ask--especially when you're spending hard-earned money and precious free time to do it. I hope that, as we earn your trust as a grower and producer, you might take a small risk and try something new.

Whether using produce that is an old favorite or trying something that may have never even been on your grocery list before, these recipes are here to give you some fresh ideas.  I promise--we only post things that we have made and rather enjoy, with no extra foodie blogger story time to scroll through.
